missin all-nighters in the darkroom so bad.
nothing makes this girl feel whole like the scent of acetic acid.
book art:
i have content written for:
the rest of “here i am,” he replied about abraham and isaac
housemates
tao vs. bible
kink
i also started writing some content for one about compulsive skin picking (oddly, a topic i’ve grazed before in zine making).
i don’t think i’ll be able to make kink any time soon, for the same reason i can’t possible even start editing content for four months of the morning chorus.
someday.
someday people all over the world will be buying little hardback books titled something like very real, very not real: a collection of explanations, including three sections: 1. “four months of the morning chorus,” 2. “8 people in one room,” and 3. “kink.”
(i will likely leave in my will that translations may not ever be published without facing content.)
i am going to make one outlining the rules of attack, so maybe that’ll be some kind of appendix to very real, very not real.
now that i’m thinking about it, i should probably make one telling the stories of all my little body mods.
non-silver:
as the book project develops, i will almost definitely get the chemicals to do cyanotypes and gum prints.
a different project:
seth and i bought screens and squeegees, i bought soft scrub, and he bought screen clamps.
look at us, we are FOR SERIOUS.
i still have to acquire: a “blue tape” substitute, screen filler, dye, and cotton.
painting:
i’ve been planning to do an ace of diamond series for, i dunno, 2 months? it’ll be an encaustic diptych. one side will be 13 aces of diamonds, then the other side will be the 12 other cards in the suit with a missing spot for the ace. i’m not 100% sure how the composition will go, but the cards are going to be actual size, and each one on a separate piece of fabric.
